Minimizing fish stress while harvesting is key for producing a high-quality product. Our double tank system with integrated constant suction flow feature allows a gentler fish transportation and contributes to meet the highest quality standards.

SOLUTION
A double 2000liter tank with single power unit and a dewater unit placed just prior to the electric stunner
The low height allows having long suction lines and place the tanks.
The configuration is designed for improving fish welfare along the transport process. Even with a single power unit the system provides a constant flow at the suction side reducing the need of hard crowding.
In addition, the system provides a laminar flow profile in the pipe, positioning the fish at the center of the pipe, which provides faster transportation, reduces the fish´ swimming effort (less oxygen consumption) and it avoids physical contact with the pipe wall and fittings.
